Three years ago, Silverwolf Records released the first volume of "The Women Of Kerrville" including fourteen songs. "The Women Of Kerrville" project was a special one in the 25 years of recording at the Kerrville Folk Festival. The CD was so well reviewed and received that it has been played on hundreds of American and overseas stations and continues to be purchased by mail order, on the internet and record stores nationwide.

This is the second volume in the Women’s series, released three years after that first. It reflects a continuation of the exciting and continuing emergence of a whole new generation of women singer-songwriters who are earning recognition and acceptance all across the United States.

We hope you find as many rewards in this second volume of The Women Of Kerrville CD as we have in recording and producing it. Perhaps there will be a third volume in 2001 as the Kerrville Folk Festival celebrates its 30th Anniversary.
